WHO IS DEVEAN
Devean Deal is a leader on and off the field. A former two-way high school standout and accomplished track and field athlete, Devean began his collegiate career at Tulane University, where he earned AAC All-Academic honors and made an immediate impact as a defensive lineman.
Transferring to TCU in 2024, Devean brought his strong work ethic and leadership to the Horned Frogs.
ON THE FIELD
Devean began his collegiate journey at Tulane University, where he made an immediate impact on the defensive line. Beyond football, Devean was also a member of Tulane's track and field program as a thrower and earned AAC All-Academic Team honors.
In 2024, seeking to be closer to family, Devean transferred to TCU. His decision was influenced by a desire to support his family following a car accident involving his sister. At TCU, Devean reunited with his younger brother, Markis, strengthening their bond both on and off the field.

Off the field, Devean is recognized for his strong family values and full commitment to faith. He is active on social media, sharing insights into his life and career.

Markis Deal is a rising star at TCU, known for his versatility and athleticism. A four-star recruit and multi-sport high school athlete, Markis earned national recognition for his talent on the football field and achievements in basketball and track.
As a redshirt freshman, he continues to develop his skills and contribute to TCU’s defensive success.
ON THE FIELD
A highly sought-after recruit, Markis was rated as a four-star prospect, ranked as the nation's No. 10 defensive lineman and the No. 25 recruit in Texas by 247Sports. He committed to TCU, joining the Horned Frogs as part of their 2023 recruiting class.
In his redshirt freshman season, Markis has demonstrated his potential on the defensive line, contributing to the team's success and earning playing time in multiple games.

Markis' close-knit relationship with his brother Devean has been a source of mutual inspiration and support, both having a profound impact on each other's development as athletes and individuals. Markis is active on social media, engaging with fans and sharing updates about his athletic journey.
Academically, he maintains a 3.3 GPA and has expressed interest in majoring in political science or business.
